Fish, Wildlife & Parks proposes road construction project at Mallard’s Rest in Paradise Valley The Livingston Enterprise reports:
The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks is proposing to close for three weeks Mallard’s Rest Fishing Access Site in Paradise Valley for road improvements and is seeking public input.
The popular 17.1-acre site — located about 13 miles south of Livingston off U.S. Highway 89 South — would be closed under the proposal from May 1 to June 15, or from about the kickoff of the Mother’s Day caddis hatch to just before the salmonfly hatch.
