An Urgent Plea to the GLA Board To Address GLC Election Fraud
An open letter to Glastonbury Landowners Association (GLA) Board Members and our community:
I am used to being ignored by the GLA Board so I am not surprised that neither Road Chair John Carp nor Director Mizzi answered my board email questions regarding their possible involvement in the fraudulent Glastonbury Landowners Committee (GLC). The GLC and the fraud they perpetrated are quickly becoming a distant memory for many directors. The GLA Board has "moved on" to more pressing issues like the September Minutes, construction bond refunds and landowner list updates. The ordinary and mundane has replaced the discussion of heinous acts by the GLC.
I and landowners would appreciate some answers in regards to the corruption and fraud being perpetrated in our community.

Landowners are being lied to by a group, the GLC, that impersonated the GLA Board. Certain candidates who did not follow the GLA approved Election rules and were disqualified, stand to benefit. Road Chair John Carp is one such candidate. He claims to have no knowledge of the shadowy group but he appears willing to benefit from their fraudulent activities. His extended bio, along with other disqualified candidates, was included in the GLC mailing. Will he disavow the GLC and acknowledge that his write-in candidacy was never approved by him? Will other GLC candidates do the same? If elected as a director, how can he or the others, be trusted? How can any, ever be considered a legitimate director, when their candidacy was based on a lie told to the voters?
Director Mizzi still has not answered how the extended and recycled bio she received from John Carp ended up in a GLC mailing. Nor has Director Accantino explained how her words to the GLA Board from a written statement presented on October 12, also ended up in a GLC mailing. Both were avid supporters of the disqualified candidates. So was President Newman and he too, has been mostly silent. He sees the fraud as just "another campaign letter". He appears utterly unwilling to learn the truth and see that justice prevails for the community he was elected to lead.
Landowners and legitimate candidates are outraged. The GLA Board remains blind and mute when confronted with evil. At least one candidate was forced to communicate via a mailed campaign letter to her constituents to let them know she was NOT legally removed from the ballot. She was injured and has grounds for a lawsuit. Her husband has experience with suing the GLA.
How long will fellow directors, elected representatives of the people, stand by and allow the corruption and fraud to continue? What will happen to the GLA if any of the GLC write-in candidates get elected? Certainly the means they used were fraudulent. Will they be considered to have won a seat legitimately? Will the GLA Board be considered the legitimate voice of the landowners?
Who will ask the tough questions and how many directors will demand straight answers and a full accounting? Is anyone really interested in discovering the truth and then administering punishment so justice can prevail? Our GLA Board swears allegiance to the American flag at every meeting. Our pledge ends with the words "justice for all". Are those words meaningless? Will there be no justice for landowners or legitimate candidates from the GLA Board? Will the corrupt GLC and their fraud be allowed to prevail?
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men and women to do nothing.
Sincerely,
Director Tim Brockett
