Annual Election Now in Doubt
Annual Election Now in Doubt
Directors Jerry Ladewig and Andrea Sedlak resigned from the Glastonbury Landowner's Association Election Committee this morning, October 30th. Only Director Mizzi is left on the committee. It is not clear if the Annual Election, already tainted by fraud, will continue as planned on November 14th.
Five write-in candidates who do NOT own land in Glastonbury were promoted by a shadowy group, known as the Glastonbury Landowners Committee (GLC), that seemed to speak for the GLA. The GLC fraudulently stated that legitimate candidates were removed from the ballot and then urged landowners to vote for the write-in candidates instead. Five sitting GLA directors have refused to even vote for an emergency board meeting to discuss the GLC fraud.
In a written statement to the GLA Board Director Ladewig declared:
Earlier, Director Sedlak submitted her resignation from the GLA Election Committee. She stated:
Ladewig's term ends when the new directors are seated. Sedlak is currently running for another two year term.

In a written statement to the GLA Board Director Ladewig declared:
Sitting Directors have failed to perform their duties as Directors regarding the recent undermining of our fair election process. Attempts have been made to misinform our Landowners for the purpose of stacking the Board with preferred non-landowners. No concern has been voiced by 5 Directors.
Five other Directors asked for a meeting to discuss recent fraudulent mailings but the remaining Directors, referred to above, refused to vote to do so.
Therefore, I resign from the Election Committee effective immediately.

Earlier, Director Sedlak submitted her resignation from the GLA Election Committee. She stated:
In view of the Board's ongoing dereliction of duty to address the challenge to the integrity of this upcoming GLA election, I am resigning from the Election Committee immediately. I cannot work toward conducting an election that has been so seriously undermined.
Ladewig's term ends when the new directors are seated. Sedlak is currently running for another two year term.
