Another Illegal Well Being Drilled in South Glastonbury
On August 18th, 2021 another illegal well was in the process of being drilled in South Glastonbury. This well on SG 52, at the beginning of Arcturus Drive and in the old gravel pit, was never reviewed or approved by the GLA Project Review Committee and board as required by the Covenants, Section 6.02. It is not known if the well location sits too close to a property line or septic drain field.
The parcel was recently purchased from Church Universal and Triumphant (CUT). The new landowner has expressed an interest in building a house as quickly as possible. But no forms have been submitted to the GLA board and neither have any Project Review fees been paid. The GLA Board was notified on August 18th, 2021 and not taken any action.
On May 12, 2021 the Glastonbury Landowner's Association(GLA) was notified by email that an illegal well was being drilled on South Glastonbury parcel 84C. That landowner was fined $250.00 which has yet to be paid. That well was drilled too close to property lines but that infraction was ignored by the GLA.

This is a perfect example of why the GLA should be dissolved. In fact, it should be helpful in the lawsuit designed to do just that.

Why would anyone go through board approval. It's nothing but dysfunction If it's legal in Park county good enough
