Glastonbury road side weeds are finally getting sprayed... On July 2nd the roadside weeds in South Glastonbury were 4 feet tall and flowering. As of July 16th, 2016 many weeds are 5 feet tall, have robust blooms and are profusely spreading seeds. According to the GLA Board "The contractor will spray the platted road easements in South Glastonbury on Tuesday, July 19th, and will spray in North Glastonbury on Wednesday, July 20th. He will be spraying for mullein, hound's tongue, thistle and knapweed. The contractor will be using blue dye so we will be able to see where he has sprayed. If your property touches the platted road easement and you don't want the easement sprayed you have the option to remove the weeds yourself and put out a sign that says "No Spray" and the contractor will not need to spray the easement near your property.
You may contact the GLA Board at info@glamontana.org if you have any questions.".
