I filed this complaint Wed. evening and from the Board's history of Dan Kehoe and the Board leadership, I do not anticipate any response.
To: GLA Board, Glastonbury Landowners For Positive Change
I still have not received a written reply to my Document Request of June 5, 2016. I requested a copy of the attorney approval required in the Motion of April 11th. That approval was required to enable the Board to publish the new Rule as an issue of fact in the Spring Newsletter.
Debbie Blais and I have discussed the numerous problems with the voting packet that was sent to all Members. I am joining her in lodging a formal complaint to the Board.
The problems include: 1) Improper citation of Bylaw Article XII (A) rather than the requirements of Covenant 2.05 which misleads voters into thinking a lower voter response is required; 2) Bias and selective presentation of Pros and Cons that do not adhere to the promise of Dan Kehoe at the May 16th Board meeting to present all relevant Con’s stated by Members and hold a Board vote to decide which to include; 3) Presentation that Assessments include compound interest after being informed repeatedly only simple interest has ever been applied; 4) Presenting that 18% interest generates a profit when funds at 18%, 15% or 12%, whichever Members select, going to the same account; 5) Excluding the information reported to the Board on July 11th from the June 25 Board Listens meeting stating Members desired to simply state “the maximum allowed by law”; 6) Presenting Con’s in a degrading or inflammatory language to reduce their viability; 7) Failure to inform voters the attorney recommendations were hearsay and not documented: and 8) Continuing to use past mail-in ballot practices that do not provide complete secrecy for the voters after being informed it was a concern that stopped voters from exercising their rights .
These depictions of voter manipulation are grounds to challenge the vote. I request a description of how and by whom each action above was determined to be in the Members’ best interest.
I hereby submit the Formal Complaint on these issues.
Thank You
Leo Keeler
