Jeffrey Riederer for South Glastonbury Director
I retired from Peoples Natural Gas Company in Pennsylvania after 38 years, starting in the drilling department. I ended my career as a high pressure compressor station engineer.
During the 2000's I headed an eight person crew installing $14 million dollars worth of compressor stations. As crew leader, I was also responsible for following a multi-million dollar budget.
In 1993 I also took time to apply and graduate from the Ross Lefler School of Wildlife Conservation, and became a Pennsylvania State officer as a deputy. I was one of 600 deputies and 230 salaried officers policing over 1,000,000 hunters annually. Working two jobs was the norm for most deputies and expected by both employers. I retired from the PA Game Commission with 20 years of service.
While employed by these two jobs, I had the opportunity to display numerous examples of hands-on decision making and conflict resolution, involving monetary projects as well as working with different groups of people.
