GLA Board Secretary Charlene Murphy is Abusing Her Power
Altering legal documents is fraud.
The July 14th, 2017 Road Committee minutes have been altered by the Board Secretary, Charlene Murphy. They are not the same as the Road Committee minutes I wrote and submitted to Road Committee Chair, Dennis Riley. The Board Secretary, Charlene Murphy, does NOT have my permission or the legal authority to alter the Road Committee Minutes. Altering legal documents is fraud.
The original minutes are attached as a PDF; the altered minutes are attached as a Word document.

My name is Tim Brockett—NOT Tim B. I am proud to serve landowners and do not want the GLA Board to use an alias as a substitute for my legal name.
The Minutes are a legal document and MUST have legal names listed—not aliases. I understand that the Board decided to use just last initials, but that policy, in my opinion, is just another illegal action by an unprofessional Board that often prefers to remain shrouded in secrecy.
Not so long ago, GLA Meeting Minutes were stamped "Confidential." Board to board emails were also stamped “Confidential.” This weekend, Road Committee members again received a stern warning from Charlene Murphy, that content in her emails must be kept "Confidential" and "not be posted to any websites." The Board Secretary does not have the authority to obfuscate transparent communication and place such autocratic demands upon her email recipients. It is time for the GLA Board to revisit the Board Secretary's responsibilities and rein in her propensity to be a dark force that works secretly in the shadows.
Charlene Murphy has a personal agenda and does not represent the best interests of all landowners. She has repeatedly abused her power as Chair of the Election Committee to thwart the wishes of the majority of the committee's members. Now she is using her power as GLA Board Secretary to alter legal documents and hide other landowner information behind a veil of secrecy.
Hiding and secrecy needs to stop. It is the duty of all Board and Committee members to serve all landowners openly, honestly, and transparently.
Finally, if Charlene Murphy has comments or questions about the Road Committee minutes or Road Committee business, I suggest that she addresses those comments in writing to the Chair, Dennis Riley.
Please ask her to not badger me or any other member with her constant queries.
