...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 inches or more possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Central and South Central Montana.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel may be difficult due to reduced visibility and slippery roads. Cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Young livestock will face dangerous conditions.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Storm Watch is issued when severe winter weather is possible but not imminent. At this time there is a potential for significant snow. Future driving and walking conditions may become hazardous so it is important to monitor the latest forecasts.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Slow down and allow extra time when traveling. Practice your winter safety rules. Keep an extra flashlight...food...and water in your vehicle in case of emergency.

Winter Storm Watch Upgraded to Winter Storm Warning Substantial Snow is Coming ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Periods of heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches.
* WHERE...Northern Park, Paradise Valley and Livingston Area.
* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult due to snowy roads and poor visibility. Expect wind chills of 15 to 25 below zero.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
