High South Glastonbury Snow Report - Oct. 20, 2019 8 AM Four inches of moist fresh snow fell overnight in High South Glastonbury at 6,300 feet above sea level. Currently the temperature is 29 degrees Fahrenheit. The snow has stopped falling and is expected to melt as the temperature warms into the mid 40's this afternoon.
Monday and Tuesday will bring a few snow and/or rain showers with daytime highs in the upper 40's.
This snow will melt but as nighttime temperatures start to consistently drop below 32 the ground will freeze. Traditionally the ground freezes by late November and then the snow starts to accumulate.
