16 inches has fallen as of 11:30 AM in High South Glastonbury at 6,300 feet. It is still snowing heavily and expected to continue into Friday morning. Standish Excavation has started plowing in North Glastonbury. When done they will move to South Glastonbury. A grader and front end loader will be used for High South. Standish expects to make one pass on all platted roads today and then another pass on Friday morning.
Meanwhile KBZK reports: "An “atmospheric river” is pouring deep rich sub-tropical moisture from just north of Hawaii up into the Pacific NW and western Canada.
Forecast models show this rich moisture feed will drop through western, central and SW Montana in a NW flow aloft. A steady stream of warm moist air will bring a long duration wet weather pattern to most of Montana".
