Yellowstone National Park closes some sites due to virus, park still open KBZK reports:
"While many places are closed to combat the coronavirus pandemic, the wide-open spaces of Yellowstone National Park are still accessible.
But the park is not totally immune to the virus.
The park is reacting to the threat of covid-19 with an immediate closure of the popular Boiling River swimming site.
“Oversnow travel is finished for the season, plowing has started, and that’s why a lot of the interior roads are closed in preparation for the spring,” said Social Media Ranger Jake Frank.
The Albright Visitor Center in Mammoth is temporarily closed while the interior of the park is already closed for spring snow plowing. But the north gate at Gardiner remains open".

Bullock orders statewide business closures, more cases confirmed The Bozeman Chronicle reports:
"Gov. Steve Bullock has announced a statewide closure of dine-in food service, alcoholic beverage service businesses and other communal areas.
The governor’s order shutters public dining and drinking spaces, cigar bars, indoor recreation facilities, indoor areas at ski hills, hot springs, theaters, music venues, nightclubs, bingo halls, casinos and bowling alleys.
Restaurants and other businesses can still offer takeout, curbside pick-up, drive-through and delivery.
There are limited exceptions for food service establishments that are the primary source of food for some people, such as university cafeterias and health care facilities.
The closures end at 11:59 p.m. on March 27, but Bullock said he would likely extend the closures".
