Annual Election May Be Cancelled and Rescheduled Glastonbury Landowner's Association (GLA) Director Charlotte Mizzi stated to a landowner today that "I have a motion to the board to cancel the {Annual Election} meeting Saturday and start a new process for soliciting board nominations". Mizzi went on to say "Our attorney has advised us that we need to have a new process for the election since nominees for the board were disqualified based on the timeline of when they filed their applications. He found that disqualified nominees filed with the Administrator on time". The Forum could find no evidence of the GLA Board or Legal Committee being consulted first. We understand that the voting is in process and has up to 3 days to complete. 7 directors must vote yes for the Annual Election meeting to be cancelled.
The information released by Director Mizzi may have been protected by attorney client privilege and the GLA Board Rule 2.01.
Cancelling the election would legitimize the non-landowner write-in candidates promoted by the fraudulent Glastonbury Landowners Committee (GLC) letter. They could then be listed on the official ballot and may stand a better chance of winning a seat on the GLA Board.
This is on ongoing story and we will continue to cover it.
