Our first big storm is officially on the way.
WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches possible, with higher totals near the mountains.
* WHERE...Portions of Central, South Central and Southeast Montana.
* WHEN...From Thursday night through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
