Newman Brozovsky Refuses To Call a Monthly Board Meeting
GLA President Newman Brozovsky was asked by Treasurer and Vice President John McAlister to convene a Board Meeting. On March 28 McAlister wrote to the GLA Board:
McAlister's frustration boiled over and is shared by several other Board members. Minutes have not been completed for many months, spending is out of control and five Board members signed a petition to remove the other five. McAlister is one of the Directors the Cabal of Five wishes to remove. Brockett, Dirkers, Ladewig and Sedlak round out the group to be terminated.
I have repeatedly asked Newman Brozovsky to schedule a board meeting to address the budget and budget approval, including 3 times in the past week. At the same time I have also requested Newman Brozovsky to schedule a legal committee meeting. We have no status on collections and it is imperative that we address that matter. Newman has indicated that he will not call those meetings...
This manner of operation of the board cannot continue. We are totally nonfunctional. Landowners depend on us to maintain the community. We have no road chairman. We have no legal chairman. We have no leadership on the board. This is absolutely ridiculous.
