As part of a continuing effort to break the GLA board deadlock and serve landowners better, a motion was presented to fill director vacancies that have existed since June of 2020. The Bylaws require that vacancies be filled quickly. There is no Annual Election planned for 2020 or 2021. That decision is tied up in a lawsuit and it will most likely be left up to the 6th District Court to decide upon a date. Trial dates are 9 months to a year off. Therefore filling board vacancies becomes even more urgent.

Brockett also volunteered to get postcards printed and mailed if the Secretary was unable to perform her duties in a timely manner.
Claudette Dirkers quickly seconded the motion.

The GLA Board ask the Secretary or another director to mail postcards within 14 days to North and South Glastonbury landowners advertising the board vacancies and asking for volunteers to fill the empty positions.

The Bylaws require that board vacancies be filled in a timely manner. Brockett stated that "members who voted no or failed to vote are in violation of the Bylaws and Montana State law. By definition they are outlaws".
