Motion To Dissolve the GLA Presented A motion to dissolve the Glastonbury Landowner's Association has been presented to the GLA board for a vote. Director Brockett reasoned that the GLA was totally dysfunctional, unable to follow Montana State laws and the GLA governing documents. The board is embroiled in three expensive lawsuits. Two were initiated by board members against the association. If the board voted to dissolve, all three lawsuits would disappear and tens of thousands of dollars could be saved. Dissolving now would allow landowners to organize and plan ahead for fall road maintenance and winter plowing. The court could appoint a conservator to oversee and distribute remaining GLA assets.
The motion reads:
It has not been seconded yet. It is not clear if or how the three directors who are asking the court to dissolve the GLA will vote.
The motion expires on Monday July 26 at 12:49 in the afternoon.
