GLA Directors Brozovsky and Mizzi Deny They Were Removed
At 12:22 on August 25, 2021 former GLA President Newman Brozovsky stated "I officially closed the meeting before any votes were taken. Listen to the recording." President Sedlak disputed his claim and provided several links backing up her claim that a board meeting simply cannot be ended at anytime. Former GLA Secretary Mizzi then argued that since the GLA does not have to follow Robert's Rules of Order, Sedlak was wrong. Mizzi wrote:
Her signature included her former title. Later in the day Mizzi asked Sedlak for a recording of the meeting. Sedlak has not responded yet, at least on the board email system.
As per our By-laws, there is no authority to follow Robert's Rule of Order. The agenda for Aug. 22 did not specify any agenda item for the removal of the Secretary and President. The president properly ended the meeting before having a second to Tim's motion. The meeting legally ended after Newman's order to officially end the meeting. Any motions thereafter are null and void.

Notice to Newman and Charlotte:
Ed resigned. And he has not legally been on the BOD since the "end of the year" in 2020.
Your support has dwindled to 4 and sometimes 3 directors.
You are in the minority.
Even if you went to court and prevailed that the meeting was "shut down" legally, you would still lose at the next BOD meeting.
5 to 4 means that ANY officer can be legally removed per the Bylaws by the new majority.
I suggest that you both lick your wounds and accept defeat gracefully. You need to acknowledge that President Sedlak and Secretary Dirkers were legally elected and are the new President and Secretary. If you cannot accept that fact then you should resign.
We all need to remember who elected us and why. We must work together to serve all landowners.

This is a developing story and we will post more details as it unfolds.
