WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM MONDAY TO 6 PM MDT WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 18 inches. Heaviest accumulations will be in the higher foothills.
* WHERE...Portions of South Central Montana.
* WHEN...From 6 AM Monday to 6 PM MDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel could be very difficult, especially at night.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
