Livingston Election Results The Livingston Enterprise reports: "In a close race for three open Livingston City Commissioner seats, voters Tuesday re-elected incumbent Quentin Schwarz and elected political newcomers Torrey Lyons and Karrie Kahle, unofficial results from the Park County Clerk and Recorder's Office show.
Not receiving enough votes to become a commissioner was Falisha Kaufman.
Unofficial results in the local election show Kahle received the most votes with 1,888, while Lyons and Schwarz received 1,658 and 1,481 votes, respectively. Kaufman got 1,035 votes.
In ballot issues, voters overwhelmingly passed the 3% marijuana excise tax, but struck down the $20 million railroad crossing bonds, and voted no to change the local government to a self-governing charter.
The proposed railroad crossing bonds received 1,778 votes against and only 861 votes for.
Meanwhile, the marijuana excise tax passed with 4,247 yes votes and 1,539 no votes.
Unopposed incumbent candidate for city of Livingston judge, Holly LaValley Happe, received 2,069 votes.
Voter turnout was 42.46%."
