November 24, 2021 - High South Snow Report Less than an inch was predicted. Six inches of snow has fallen in High South Glastonbury since 7 PM last night. At 8:45 AM it is 30 degrees above zero, Fahrenheit, and a steady snow is descending upon the hills.
The forecast calls for clearing skies and a 15% chance of snow today. Temperatures are expected to warm into the upper 40's by the weekend.
In November of 2010, almost 24 inches of snow fell on Glastonbury. Some residents were buried for days.
Glastonbury roads past SpecTec were snow-packed before this storm. Now they are completely covered in snow and the driving promises to be difficult. It is not known when or if they will be plowed. Drive safely if you must drive at all.
