First 2022 GLA Board Meeting Scheduled for May 11, 2022 John McAlister has scheduled a GLA Board meeting for May 11 at Emigrant Hall. Attorney Swandal will be present. The meeting will start with a private session at 6:30 where the board will ask Swandal questions. At 7 PM landowners may enter and also ask questions to Swandal and the board. An agenda has not been released yet. This will be the first GLA Board meeting since October 6, 2021.
McAlister wrote in an email to the GLA Board:
Director Brockett has requested invoices, bank statements, and canceled checks so he can verify the accuracy of GLA Board Financial statements and the 2022 proposed budget. His request, like similar ones over the past 2 1/2 years was ignored. Brockett found omissions and questionable expenses in the financial statements and shared those issues with the board. To date, no one has responded. Apparently, the GLA Board has no interest in having their financial figures independently verified.
Swandal is in charge of the Annual Election and Covenant Change vote. He has full authority from the court to conduct both in any way he wishes as long as the GLA Governing Documents are respected. It is expected that he will release his plan at the May 11th board meeting.

May 11, GLA Meeting Update - Swandal Will NOT Attend
Attorney Nels Swandal who recently sent an Annual Election letter to all Glastonbury landowners will not be able to attend the May 11th GLA Board meeting. He was scheduled to meet privately with Board members before the meeting and then answer landowner questions at 7 PM. Swandal will be at another meeting in Missoula on the 11th. Instead of rescheduling the May 11th meeting for the convenience of Swandal and landowners, it was decided to simply proceed. Written questions may be submitted to Dissolution lawsuit litigant and GLA President Pro Tem John McAlister. He has promised to relay them to Swandal.
