2022 GLA Election Ballot Tally Schedule Announced
GLA President John McAlister finally responded to a director's request as to when the ballots would be tallied.
The ballots are still sitting at Swandal's office and will remain there for another week. Then, someone will pick up the ballots and bring them to Accounting and Tax Solution (ATS). Two ATS employees will conduct the ballot count. All without any supervision or oversight from GLA Board members. The process will be behind closed doors in an empty office that is "free of distractions". Then ATS will share the tally with Swandal. Apparently, there is no plan to share the voting materials or results with the GLA board.

McAlister did not provide a date as to when the results would be released to the board and landowners.
The results will be given to Swandal who in turn is required to file a written report with Judge Gilbert. If Swandal does not share the election results with the GLA board they will not be known until Swandal's report is submitted to Judge Gilbert and becomes part of the public court record. ATS will pick up the ballots from Swandal Law PLLC next Wednesday, September 1st. They will perform the count over the weekend starting on September 3rd.
Julie Indreland and Kristin Williamson will do the ballot count. Julie Indreland had to be out of town this coming weekend. They want to do the count with the office is empty and free of distractions.
