WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 11 PM MST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Montana.
* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 PM MST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. For the latest road conditions, call 5 1 1. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
