FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by snowmelt continues.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Montana, including the following county, Park.
* WHEN...Until noon MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding of small creeks and streams, low-lying areas, and culverts. Rural roads and bridges may be washed out or damaged. Livestock may become stranded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1115 AM MDT, emergency management reported minor flooding from snowmelt in and around the Clyde Park area. Minor flooding is possible on additional small streams. - Some locations that could experience flooding include... Clyde Park and Wilsall. - www.weather.gov/safety/flood
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross flooded roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be damaged or washed out in places.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency officials and request they pass the information to the National Weather Service in Billings.
