The first petition is a success! We have surpassed the required number of signatures to put the current growth policy on the ballot.
But, the text of the second petition was not approved until a few weeks later. So, we have a little more time and we still need more signatures to meet its requirement. If we do, any future proposed Park County Growth Policy will have to meet voter approval before being adopted. Please consider joining our petition to have a voice in county land use policy.
Ann will be collecting signatures at the following locations:
Monday, 9/25, Livingston Post Office, 11 - 3 Tuesday, 9/26, Wilsall Post Office, 11 - 3 Wednesday, 9/27, Emigrant Post Office, 11 - 3 Thursday, 9/28, Wilsall Post Office, 11 - 3 Friday, 9/29, Livingston Post Office, 11 - 3 Saturday, 9/30, Emigrant Market, 9 - 1
Thank you.

Congratulations to all who participated in signing and gathering signatures for the Growth Policy to be put on the ballot. Everyone should be concerned about ceding their property rights to a government board. It is usually the first step on a journey to exponentially increase the power of government at the expense of individual liberties. A second petition is making the rounds. Please be sure to sign it too. Our valley and way of life are increasingly threatened and we cannot afford to lose it. Montana really is the last, best place.
