Glastonbury Roads and Weeds 2016 "Yard Art too! On a July 2nd, 2016 drive through North and South Glastonbury a local photographer shared these snaps with us. Welcome to North Glastonbury - Home to broken snow fences and bad roads. Our roads were just graded and graveled. See the old gravel at the top of the photo? We spent $$$ on these improvements. The washboards are surfacing after just 2 weeks. They keep drivers from going too fast. Our North Glastonbury paved road is falling apart. This stretch was patched once and now has another gaping pot hole. On July 2nd the roadside weeds in South Glastonbury were 4 feet tall and flowering. By the time the GLA Board decides what to do, the seeds will be scattered far and wide. The Covenants prohibit eyesores. These are not what you may think. Junk cars? Appalachia in Montana? NO! They are "yard art"!
