Tim Brockett for South Glastonbury Director
My Promises to the Community of Glastonbury
If elected:
I will vote against any motion that attempts to raise assessments.
I will actively work to reduce yearly assessments by spending landowner money frugally and maximizing our return on community investments.
I will insist that our Covenants, Bylaws and Master Plan represent the collected wisdom of our community and be strictly adhered to. Further I will demand that all landowners be treated equally and that board decisions focus on what is in the best interests of a majority of landowners.
I support 100% transparency. The GLA board needs to provide all landowners with:
I support changing the GLA to a Road Maintenance organization. I will work with the Board to provide “better than county” road maintenance and plowing for all land owners. By the 2017 annual meeting, in conjunction with the Road Committee, I wish to create a comprehensive road maintenance plan that will finally bring quality roads to all landowners while reducing assessments. That plan could be voted on by our community at the 2017 annual meeting.
I support using all of the legal means provided by our Covenants to vigorously pursue and collect the approximately $200,000.00 in outstanding assessments and interest currently owed to the Community of Glastonbury. 100% of the proceeds collected should be used for improved road maintenance.
I promise to serve my community with distinction and honor for my full two year term.
I promise to serve all of the landowners in Glastonbury and will routinely post information on The Glastonbury Community Forum where landowners may read about current issues and voice their concerns.

I support 100% transparency. The GLA board needs to provide all landowners with:
- simple and accurate financial records
- written legal opinions,
- minutes that record official actions,
- and newsletters with real news.
