I attended the forum hosted by Emigrant Neighbors on Oct 24th for meeting candidates for Park county commissioner and the Montana Legislature. Why? Because if we the people are to effect change in our government it must begin at the local level. This goes for the most local level, as well - the Glastonbury Landowners Association. With a slate of well-qualified and competent members now running for the GLA board of directors we have the opportunity to elect directors who will represent the landowners, not a special interest group. The same holds true at the county, state and national levels.
For a few years, since first learning about it, I have been concerned about the implementation of the United Nations' Agenda 21 for "Sustainable Development," and specifically its impact locally. For decades now this nefarious scheme by the globalist one-world-government crowd has been stealthily creeping into our back yards, and our local governments. Its ultimate goal is depopulation, the elimination of private property, and the concentration of humans in controlled population centers a la Huxley and Orwell. It is the ultimate "wolf in sheep's clothing," and I urge you to learn about it here, as well as how to combat it: americanpolicy.org/
As Agenda 21 criticism is often ridiculed by its advocates as tin-foil-hat conspiracy theory, or completely denied by its promoters in academia and the planning profession, it is sometimes difficult to get the attention of elected officials or candidates. I decided to write (email) the candidates for county commissioner, as well as the incumbents, to inform them of the dangers and to ask their opinion on the matter. My letter follows:
I attended the Commissioner Candidates Forum at Emigrant Hall on October 24. I would like to know how you would classify yourself: As a conservative, moderate or liberal?
As a sitting Park County Commissioner or candidate, where do you stand on issues known as “sustainable development” as advocated by supporters of the United Nations Agenda 21 and its offshoots? If you are not familiar with this program you may learn all about it here americanpolicy.org/agenda21/
This is a major issue affecting the lives of all citizens of the United States, including Montana and Park County. I urge you to listen to this podcast for elected officials to become intimately familiar with how the policies and plans of Agenda 21 will impact Park County if you support them. americanpolicy.org/2016/06/27/conf-call/
An educated commissioner is an effective commissioner.
Thank you for your willingness to work in the best interests of all Park County residents, and not for special interests.
I sent this to all commissioner candidates as well as to Commissioner Steve Caldwell who is not up for re-election this year. Commissioners Marty Malone and Clint Tinsley are running for re-election. Additional candidates are Bill Berg, Tim Henson, Tammy Lewis and Brad Wilson.
In a few days I will post the replies from those who respond. I urge you to learn all you can regarding Agenda 21, and to vote wisely.
P.S. The Park County Planning and Development Board is now collecting written comment on the Draft Park County Growth Policy Update.
On Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. the Planning and Development Board will hold a public hearing on the draft in the Community Room in the City-County Building at 414 East Callender Street Livingston, Montana.
