Road Committee Meeting, Tuesday January 3rd, 2017
at Liberty Hall Kitchen, 30 Sirius Road in North Glastonbury
Rescheduled for a fifth time...now it is on January 16th, 2016. 5-7 PM at Emigrant Hall.

Agenda:

1. Discuss snowplow related issues.

2. Discuss methods of communication between Road Chairs, Captains and committee members.

3 Discuss questions and concerns from the committee.

4. Discuss backup snowplow measures.

GLFPC Summary of the Jan. 16th, 2017 Road Committee meeting now available.

Key Points include:

Considering the Road Committee Chair Ed Dobrowski scheduled and then postponed a road meeting at least five times during the weeks of severe winter weather driving conditions reveals serious managerial problems within the Road Committee, and beyond.
A lack of leadership, conflict about proper paperwork, miscommunication and broken equipment, left a number of GLA roads overrun with snowdrifts during several major storms throughout mid-December and into early January.
The Road Committee Meeting was overshadowed by discord.
