High winds force I90 detour in Livingston

LIVINGSTON - High winds have forced the closure of Interstate 90, westbound and eastbound traffic, forcing travelers to detour through Livingston.
Severe Wind Warnings remain in effect from the Bozeman Pass through Livingston to Springdale.
The Montana Department of Transportation says: "I-90 West Bound IS CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC DUE TO SEVERE WIND ACTIVITY. ALL TRAFFIC MUST DETOUR THROUGH LIVINGSTON. I90 EB ALL SEMIS & TOWING UNITS MUST DETOUR THROUGH LIVINGSTON DUE TO SEVERE WIND ACTIVITY."
According to the Montana Department of Transportation, road conditions are dry.
The Park County Sheriff's Office shared the following message on Facebook: "All high profile vehicles eastbound through the same area will be diverted through town as well. Gusts have already exceeded 70 MPH. Please drive carefully!!!"
