Thursday May 18, 2017 - Paradise Valley is WHITE Heavy snow blankets the hills and the valley floor is white. Heavy, wet snow started to fall on Tuesday night. By Wednesday morning 2 inches covered the hills surrounding Paradise Valley from about 6,000 feet up. When the clouds lifted briefly on Wednesday afternoon the valley floor was wet and green. Towards evening the clouds descended and a thick, wet snow started to fall. By 10 PM 4 inches coated everything. At sunrise 8 inches covered the landscape. For reasons perhaps related to the weather Wispwest internet service went out around 7 PM on Wednesday in High South Glastonbury. Service resumed around 7 AM on Thursday. The National Weather Service issued a Flood Warning this morning for Paradise Valley and Livingston. Minor flooding is expected from yesterday's rain and melting snow today and Friday.
