State approves exploratory drilling near Yellowstone National Park A new President has ushered in increased GDP and Montanans are ready to assist in Paradise Valley. Our pocket of poverty in Paradise Valley aka; Glastonbury, may see increased job opportunities soon. If the drilling reveals hidden mineral resources property values could increase substantially as workers flock to the area. Good, steady and high paying jobs would come next and help to fulfill the Trump administrations campaign vow to put Americans back to work.
Micheal Wright of the Bozeman Chronicle penned the following article today. He writes
"State environmental officials OK’d a Canadian mining company’s gold hunt in a gulch north of Yellowstone National Park.
The Montana Department of Environmental Quality approved Lucky Minerals Inc.’s exploratory drilling plans on private land in Emigrant Gulch on Wednesday. The agency said the company could look for gold as long as they take extra steps to protect wildlife, water quality and more.
DEQ Director Tom Livers said in a statement that the company already “has agreed to mitigations beyond what is required in statute.”."
