How to Vote with a Proxy Form
Your vote is critical
Your vote is critical
Glastonbury Landowner Association (GLA)annual elections are often decided by a handful of votes. Your vote is critical so please do not let it go to waste. If you have lost your absentee ballot, cannot attend the Annual meeting or just do not want to bother doing candidate research please send the Forum your proxy vote.
What is a proxy vote? The GLA Governing Documents allows landowners to give permission to any person they choose to vote for them. By simply downloading, filling out, and mailing us a Proxy Designation Form your vote will be counted and can effect positive change in Glastonbury. The 2017 election is critical for our roads and property values. Why?
Under the leadership of Dennis Riley the Road Committee created ditches along all platted roads in 2017. They mapped, staked and are now cleaning every platted road culvert in Glastonbury. The Road Committee is working on treating high traffic roads with Mag Chloride and is putting the finishing touches on a traffic management plan for Glastonbury complete with many new traffic signs. Candidate Claudette Dirkers co-chaired the Road Advisory Group which created a new draft Road Policy and started work on a Five Year Road Plan. All of this road progress will come to a grinding halt if current South Glastonbury seats on the GLA Board are lost. In North Glastonbury road improvement progress will be enhanced if Claudette Dirkers wins a directorship. Your vote is needed and could make a critical difference for Glastonbury.
