New Glastonbury map is in the works
Gerald Dubiel is currently creating a new map for Glastonbury. He expects the map to be completed around "the first of the new year". Gerald states "At that point I will email them to the landowners. However I will also make available a hard copy that will be at least 18" x 24".".
We are looking forward to Gerald's new map. The original Master Plan maps are good historical references but they lack all the new roads and sub-divisions added since 2007.
Readers may create their own maps at: svc.mt.gov/msl/mtcadastral/
You may search for a property owner in Park County and it will show their land. You can also pick any county in Montana and search via five different criteria. If you click your left mouse button and hold it down, you may move the map in any direction. You may also zoom out to see surrounding roads, parcels and sub-divisions. Roads are named, parcel and sub-division boundaries are mapped. Details change as you zoom out or in.
You can change the scale and add an Aerial Photo or topographical map as a background. Print your map from the box in the upper right.
The lot lines on roads are always shifted a bit as the layers do not match exactly, but it will give you a good working tool.
