Gray wolves may be delisted from Endangered Species List
Gray wolves have made such a comeback that they may soon be delisted from the Endangered Species list. Hunting is already allowed in Montana and the wolves make an easy target as many have no fear of humans. They see many people in Yellowstone Park and tourists are not threatening. When wolves venture out of the park in search of food they frequently come in contact with humans. Wolves have been spotted in High South walking down the road at 10 in the morning. They have fought with and raped neighborhood dogs. Their tracks are often seen in fresh snow on Sagittarius Skyway and upper Hercules.
Delisting the wolves will open the door to more hunting and should help to instill a fear of humans in the wild creatures. Controlled hunting should increase the wolves prospect of long term survival. Now if only the Grizzly Bears could be hunted...
