Tire Recycling Facility proposed in Paradise Valley Mike Adkins is proposing a tire recycling facility and the application is before the Montana DEQ. Adkins proposes to recycle old tires for use in roads and paths. The facility is expected to generate $40,000.00 a year jobs for 22 people and bring economic development to the area. Many locals have mis-characterized Adkin's proposal in the past by falsely stating that he was going to burn tires. They also verbally harassed and threatened Mike and his family. The environmentalists and folks who want to turn Paradise Valley into an extension of Yellowstone Park are expected to oppose the job creating plan. They will no doubt turn to District Court Judge Brenda Gilbert for relief. Read the full story here.
