The July GLA Board Meeting Summary now available The Glastonbury Landowners for Positive Change (GLFPC) summary of the July GLA Board meeting is now available.
Key Points Include:
- The GLA Board’s July meeting was the third phone conference meeting in a row. In
answer to a question of how and when the phone meetings would end, landowners were told that board meetings will not be open for in-person attendance, at least until November, when new board members are elected. - Regina Wunsch’s letter listing a host of questions concerning the hiring of the new
administrative assistant was on the agenda. - Kehoe's aim to make the interest rate reduction retroactive was justified by calling it
“only a minor change.” The change could generate a minimum loss of $25,000 for GLA. Parker called this interest forfeiture of $25,000, only “a hair-cut.” The Board itself does not know the maximum loss as a result of this change, but it could be very significant.

All landowners should read the GLFPC summaries as they are published to keep fully informed of the sad state of governance by this board of directors. This summary in particular clearly shows the dysfunction and ineptness of the current board due primarily to a lack of leadership and the desire for absolute control by a few select board members and the institution that they represent. This board refuses to listen to any well-researched and reasoned suggestions by landowners or experts and continues to promote their own agendas at the expense of all landowners: terrible management of our roads, years of uncollected assessments, selective forgiveness of debt for favored landowners, fuzzy record-keeping and book-keeping methods with intent to deceive, intentional lack of transparency to cover their misdeeds, intentionally and arbitrarily ignoring Montana law and their own governing documents, excessive use of self-anointed discretion....the list goes on and on.
A vote in favor of the proposed covenant changes is a vote supporting this deplorable, dishonest, deceptive activity! Are you supporting further corruption, sloppy business management, the them versus us attitude, taxation without representation, and incessant stonewalling instead of forthright and honest interactions with the members?
We are rapidly running out of time to right this situation. Founders' Syndrome and Groupthink are destroying property values, the GLA, and by inclusion, Glastonbury. The time for corrective action is now!
